Library Friends awarded a 501(c) 3 status

The Friends of the MS Public Library has received word of their official acceptance by the Federal government.  They have been awarded a 501(c) 3 status. As such the Friends organization is a charitable organization and all financial contribution, donations or endowments to the Friends are now tax deductible. Further, all contributions to the “Friends” are to be used for the sole benefit of the town library.
