Property Tax Bills for the new fiscal year 2015/2016 are in the mail.

It is very important take the time to review the information enclosed with your property tax bill.
The tax rate for 2015/2016 has INCREASED from last year, as expected.
As you recall, our tax rate for 2014/15 was uncharacteristically low because we took advantage of the higher than normal receipt of delinquent property tax $. We enjoyed those benefits last year.
Unfortunately we don’t have that benefit this year – so, this year, our tax rate is comparatively higher, as follows:
Highway /Town – .723
School – 1.7615 for Homestead OR
School – 1.496 for Non-Residential
Mark your calendars now – the first of four quarterly installments of your Property Tax is due and payable by September 15th!
