2019 Town Meeting – Candidates Running for office on the 2019 Town Meeting Ballot

Voting at the Historical society dining room – Tuesday March 5, 2019

As you will see there are a number of important positions that are lacking candidates and we have no contested races. If you are interested in serving in any of the positions on the ballot, please consider a write-in campaign. It’s easy to get the word out through Front Porch Forum and within your social networks. Any and all positions are open to a write-in campaign, but it would be great to see some interest in the empty positions.

If you have questions about what a position entails, you can visit the state’s website here – https://www.sec.state.vt.us/elections/candidates/local-office-descriptions.aspx, reach out to a current office holder, or connect with a selectboard member.

Serving your community is a great way to give back and to get a better understanding of what it takes to run our town. Our community is strengthened by those who are willing to serve.
