There are TWO big events happening this weekend! 

Saturday starting at 9am the Library will be moving books from the old library to the new library, hand to hand, book by book in the Great Library Book Brigade. They'd love to have your help as they transition to the new building. Stop by lend a hand or just to take in the spectacle of a hundred of your neighbors passing books from one to the other and into the new library space. There will be childrens' activities, music and food. It's sure to be a great time! 

Sunday at 2pm we'll be hosting the 6th Annual Town-wide Gathering! Come on down to the town green and hang out with your neighbors. We'll have games (human slot machine, town trivia bingo, earth ball), food and lots of conversations. It's become a great tradition and a way to reconnect with folks you don't get to see on a daily basis. The event lasts until 5pm. Take some time to pop in and check it out!

One last item on the To-Do List - Reminder that 1st Quarter Property Taxes are due next week - Tuesday, September 15 is the due date. Payments can be dropped off in the secure Tax Payments drop box anytime before the end of the day on Tuesday. The treasurer will also be in the office on Tuesday from 11am to 3pm to collect in person payments.
