Friday, November 7

This day in town history:  On November 8, 1929 the Methodist Church was sold to the Town, to be used as a public library. Instead, it is used as a gymnasium for the school. This building was located on the corner of West and South Streets adjacent to the Old Cemetery.

On tap for the weekend: Friday is Bingo Night at the School - games start at 6pm and Friday and Saturday, Theater in the Woods Ten Minute Plays opening weekend at Stone Valley Arts in Poultney dinner starts at 5:30pm. Two great ways to support local community!
