Who is running for Town & School Officers – March 1, 2016

by Middletown Springs on February 22, 2016

In case you missed the “Meet the Candidates” event at the library or haven’t seen the ballots posted around town, here are the open offices and candidates for each. As Rep. Robin Chestnut-Tangerman pointed out yesterday, there are a number of positions for which no one is currently running.

If you are interested in filling one of these positions, it is not hard to mount a write-in campaign. Post a letter of intent to Front Porch Forum, tell your friends and family, send a notice to the town’s Facebook page … for example. To learn more about what a position entails, information can be found at Secretary of State’s – Local Office Descriptions and on our town website.
